Bauchi discharges nine COVID-19 patients, records two deaths

Bauchi State Government has discharged nine more Covid-19 patients from its isolation centres following their recovery.

The patients were discharged after testing negative twice in line with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) procedure.

According to a situation report released by the COVID-19 Emergency Operation Centre of the State Ministry of Health ,this bring the total number of recoveries in the state to 121.

Two patients also died from coronavirus complications bringing the total number of fatalities to five.

The situation report further stated Bauchi has two new confirmed positive cases with one severe case out of the 98 active cases receiving treatment at the various locations in the state.
