Seven doctors quarantined in Bauchi

Bauchi State has quarantined seven doctors, following their exposure to a female Coronavirus patient.

Executive Chairman of the state Primary Health Care Development Agency (BASPHCDA), Dr Rilwanu Mohammed, announced this last night at the Government House while giving an update on the pandemic.

According to him, the female patient was admitted at a private health facility before she was transferred to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH) in Bauchi, after exhibiting symptoms of the pandemic.

Mohammed said the seven doctors had contact with the patient before her sample came out positive.

He added that the sample of the doctors and every other contact of the patient had been taken and were expected last night.
