The driver of a heavy-duty vehicle who allegedly hit a pedestrian in Lagos on Monday and tried to escape, has been arrested, it was learnt.
He was apprehended by officials of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) with support from policemen.
The resulting commotion impeded morning traffic on the Old Abeokuta Expressway in the Oko-Oba area of the state.
