The Deputy Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Abraham Ngobere, has been confirmed the new Speaker of the Assembly.
This coming after the Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Monday Bubou-Obolo, stepped down to pave way for Abraham.
This happened because the Governor Douye Diri is from the same Senatorial District (Bayelsa Central Senatorial District) as the former speaker, Bubou-Obolo.
