A Kaduna Chief Magistrates’ Court on Thursday ordered that a 40-year-old man, Musa Alhassan, 40, who allegedly sodomised his neighbour’s 10-year-old boy be remanded in a correctional centre, pending legal advice.

The Magistrate, Hajara Dauda, who did not take the plea of Alhassan ordered the police to duplicate the case file and send it to the State Director of Public Prosecutions for advice.

Dauda adjourned the case until Dec. 4 for mention.

The police charged Alhassan, who resides in Kaduna, with one count of unnatural offence.

Earlier, the Prosecutor, Insp. Sunday Baba, told the court that Alhassan committed the offence on Nov. 2 at Warri Street in Kaduna.
