The Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen Tukur Yusufu Buratai represented by the Commander, Training and Doctrine Command, Maj Gen AA Tarfa has on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 declared open the Nigerian Army Small Arms Championship NASAC 2019 holding in 2 Division Ibadan.
Earlier on his arrival, Maj Gen Tarfa on behalf of the COAS, commissioned the 2 Div Shooting Range which was magnificently remodelled.
In addition to many senior military and Para military officers, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Abiodun Makinde and his entourage also graced the occasion.
In a related development, prior to the commencement of the Opening Ceremony of the championship, the rep of the COAS Maj Gen AA Tarfa used the opportunity to pay a courtesy call to the Governor Oyo State Engr Seyi Abiodun Makinde.
