Anti-graft War: NANS Honours EFCC

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Zone  C, on Wednesday 20th of November 2019 honoured the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for its role in fighting corruption and helping to sustain the country’s economic development.

Comrade Adebayo Kayode, coordinator of Zone C, who led members of his executives on a visit to the Ilorin Zonal office of the commission, said the student body, after careful consideration of the activities of the EFCC,  decided to honour the agency at the 72nd Senate sitting which held in Plateau State University.

Comrade Adebayo said “Your unmatched performance,  unsurpassed administrative prowess,  curtailing of criminal acts and contributions to economic progress of the nation” are virtues that endeared you to NANS.

Receiving the award on behalf of the Commission,  the Ilorin Zonal Head of the EFCC,  Mr Isyaku Sharu said ” I feel honoured and humbled with this type of award,  I was not there when you took your decision to honour me, I thank you for finding us worthy of this award,  we are being guided by the provisions of our laws, you must shun all forms of corruption. “
