EFCC Secures Final Forfeiture of N291 million, $287,500

A Federal High Court, sitting in Abuja on Thursday, September 26, 2019, ordered the final forfeiture of the sums of N291, 367, 914.35 (Two Hundred and Ninety -one Mollion, Three Hundred and Sixty-seven Thousand Nine Hundred and Fourteen Naira Thirty Five kobo) and another $287, 500 (Two Hundred and Eighty Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars) to the federal government.

The final forfeiture followed diligent prosecution of Haruna W. Mohammed for alleged fraud and money laundering by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The court had on July 3, 2019 granted interim forfeiture of the sums via a suit number FHC/ABJ/C5/694/2019.
