Oyo Police arrest two men in possession of human skulls

The Oyo State Police Command on Friday paraded two men found in possession of human skulls in Ogbomoso town.

The Commissioner of Police, Mr Shina Olukolu, while parading the men with 55 other suspects arrested for various offences including armed robbery and cultism, said the duo of Abdullahi Basiru and Adekola Martin were arrested on July 11, for being in possession of human skulls.

He said, β€œOn July 11, 2019, at about 1600hrs patrol team attached to Ikoyi Ile/Ogbomoso road led by inspector Benjamin Olayiwola intercepted Abdullahi Basiru and Adekola Martin both of Oja Funi Area, Ede, Osun state with two human skulls.”

He said upon interrogation, they were unable to give satisfactory account of the two human skulls in their possession.

The CP also paraded a man, Tajudeen Olalere, a security man posted to a school arrested for allegedly defiling about six students.

He said Olalere was a notorious rapist who always lured his victims before defiling them.

A kidnap syndicate in Eruwa, Ibarapaland, was also paraded.
