Herdsmen allegedly attack village near Jalingo

Again suspected Fulani herdsmen on Monday evening attacked Janibanibu village on the outskirts of Jalingo, forcing residents to flee.

The gunmen who invaded the village located about 1 kilometre south-west of Jalingo, the state capital shoot indiscriminately.

The gunshots which were followed by billowing smoke lasted for about 25 minutes before soldiers and other security agencies engaged the attackers and repelled them.
