The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu has again charged Nigerian students and youths to shun all forms of economic and financial crimes.
The charge was made today, March 19, 2019 during a sensitization talk at Igbinedion Education Centre, Benin City, Edo State.
Magu who was represented by Williams Oseghale, Head, Public Affairs Department, EFCC Benin Zonal Office, told the students that the engagement was to sensitize them as future leaders on the ills of corruption.
He urged them to collaborate with the Commission in its effort to rid the country of the malaise.
He said: “You must shun all forms of economic and financial crimes perpetrated by the youth of this age.
“We urge you to adopt the culture of diligence and integrity in your day dealings as a way of creating a better Nigeria.”
He further encouraged them to be focused, disciplined, diligent and transparent.
“You must be focus and think of ways to uplift the country. We encourage you to pass this anti- corruption message to others,” he added.
The Principal, Collins Emokpar who was represented by Monday Okhuonurie of the Mathematics Department, commended the EFCC for the initiative.
