EFCC Benin Zonal Office Trains Officers on Cyber Crime

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Benin Zonal Office on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 commenced a 2-day training programme on Cyber crime in line with the acting Executive chairman, Ibrahim Magu, resolve to eliminate economic and financial crimes in the zone.


Muhtar Bello, Benin Zonal Head who served as the resource person, educated the operatives on the latest trends in Cyber crime and internet fraud.

According to him, the training became imperative in order to have all investigators on the same page and to acquaint them with the latest trends in Cyber crime.

“As operatives, we need to be ahead of Cyber criminals. So it’s good to bring everyone to the same level for effective result” he said.
