The Kano State Office of the Independent National Electoral Commission has said it is still waiting for the official results from it’s Electoral Officers from most of the 44 local government offices before Collation.
Director of Voter Education and Publicity of the Kano State Office of INEC, Garba Mohammed, said this in an interview with our correspondent, in Kano on Sunday.
He explained that the commission was ready and waiting for a reasonable number of the collated results from the local government areas to arrive before the commencement of Collation for the state.
Mohammed said, “We are waiting for the collated results from the local government to come in before we begin.
” We have started receiving some, we want a reasonable number to come in first.”
