We are safe and sound, says Osinbajo after helicopter crash-lands in Kogi State

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has reassured all those who have expressed sympathy with him and his entourage after a helicopter he was in crash-landed in Kabba, Kogi State, that they were safe and sound.


On his verified Twitter handle, Osinbajo shared a video of himself inside a moving vehicle, signalling to a cheering crowd.

He tweeted, “We are safe and sound! Thank you to everyone who has expressed concern and thank you to the crew who managed the situation well.

We believe that God will continue to keep us and Nigeria safe even as we go higher.

We continue #NextLevelEngagements in Kabba, Kogi State.”


Osinbajo’s helicopter crash-landed in Kabba, while, he was on his way to a campaign rally in Kogi State.

Since then, dignitaries have been expressing their sympathies and thanking God for saving his life and those of his entourage.
