Walter Onnoghen

The Supreme Court on Thursday reserved judgement in the case of alleged false declaration of assets involving the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, till May 17

The case was brought before the Supreme Court by Cross River State Government, which is seeking to set aside the suspension of Onnoghen as the Chief Justice of Nigeria.

A seven-man panel of the court, led by Justice Olabode Rhodes-Vivour, fixed the date on Thursday after taking arguments from lawyers to the parties in the case.
