Church killings: Governor Ortom Benue declared May 22 Work Free day

Governor Samuel Ortom has declared May 22, as work free day in Benue to enable mourners attend the burial of two priest and 17 worshipers killed in church attacked .

The priest and the 17 worshippers will buried at a Catholic Pilgrimage center on Makurdi – Otukpo Road .
Already worked as commenced on the site as Catholic Youth Organisation ( CYO) members where seen digging the graves when The Nation visited .
The road to the burial site had been cleared and a transformer was seen mounted .
A Catholic Youth Organisation (CWO)/member James Nongu told The Nation that are working at the site at no cost in memory of those killed
