The Kwara State Police Command has vowed not to spare persons directly or indirectly linked to the robbery attack in Offa, Offa Local Government Area.
The spokesman, Ajayi Okasanmi, was reacting to speculations that the DCO and DPO of Offa police station allegedly failed to take action before the robbers struck.
Okasanmi said investigation was on, adding that the police will get to the root of the perennial robbery in the ancient town.
He said: “Whether civilian or police, whoever is found culpable would be dealt with accordingly.”
It was gathered that the robbers collected phones of the two policemen and allowed them escape.
The management of one of the banks allegedly sacked five of its workers for releasing a CCTV video of the robbery to the public.
