A suicide car bomb rammed into a Somali military base about 30 km northwest of the capital Mogadishu on Friday morning, the group and a police official said.
“A suicide car bomb rams into the military base which is not so far from our police station. It is too early to know details,” captain Hassan Nur, a police officer told Reuters from Afgoye district, where the assault occurred.
