Rally against terror to be held in Istanbul

A rally against terror is set to be held today in Istanbul after deadly bomb attacks claimed at least 38 lives in the province’s Beşiktaş district late on Dec. 10.

Organized by Turkey Democracy Platform, the rally will start at 12 p.m.

“We need to learn how to live and let live. It doesn’t matter where terror comes from,” lawyer Kezban Hatemi told daily Hürriyet, adding that the rally would start from in front of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.

“We shouldn’t let human lives be [destroyed],” she said.

The participants of the rally are expected to carry Turkish flags.
