Man plants hidden video camera in airport bathroom to record women using toilets

A man was arrested on a charge of trespassing after allegedly planting a hidden video camera in an airport bathroom, according to police in Japan.

Fukuoka police said that they have arrested 29-year-old Masayuki Takeda, after an airport employee noticed the hidden camera in the women’s bathroom.

Takeda was charged with trespassing and being a public nuisance.

According to the criminal complaint, on Tuesday around 4:00 p.m., Takeda entered the women’s bathroom and installed a coat hook that contained a video camera on the wall.

Takeda bought the camera through a shopping channel. The coat hook is just 4 inches wide. After the female airport employee noticed the camera, she called the police.

Police reviewed the airport’s security camera footage on which they saw Takeda entering the women’s bathroom.
