A man was arrested on a charge of causing death after being accused of having sex with his girlfriend until she died, according to police in Nigeria.
Ibadan police said that they have arrested 50-year-old Fatai Busari, after he took Viagra and had sex for many hours with 48-year-old Sadiat Adejuwon.
He was booked into the Agodi Prison, pending a bail hearing.
According to the police investigation, Busari and Adejuwon were dating for several months. They both worked as street cleaners.
On Monday around 3:00 p.m., Busari and Adejuwon went to his apartment, where he took a sexual enhancement drug. The couple then had sex for many hours.
At some point, Busari noticed that Adejuwon was unresponsive.
He looked down and saw a large amount of blood near her private parts. He called for help, but Adejuwon could not be revived.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
