Woman in critical condition after 13-metre fall from hotel window

A 29-year-old Spanish woman was in critical condition at the Nicosia general hospital on Sunday after falling 13 metres from the third-floor of a hotel in Ayia Napa, CNA reported.

The incident happened at around 5.30pm on Saturday when the woman, the head of entertainment at the hotel, fell from an open window. The exact circumstances of her fall have not been established but police are investigating.

The fall resulted in multiple injuries and she was taken to Famagusta hospital but later transferred to Nicosia due to the seriousness of her condition. There she underwent surgery and is being held in ICU.

CNA said doctors consider her condition to be critical.
