A man who wanted to survive the zombie apocalypse, was arrested on a charge of murder after allegedly killing his elderly neighbor because he wanted to know how it felt to kill, according to police in Arkansas.

Craighead County police said that they have arrested 31-year-old Richard Jordan Tarver, after being accused of stuffing his 90-year-old neighbor into the back of a car and shooting her in the back of the head.

According to the criminal complaint, Tarver watched the television show “The Walking Dead” for many hours before he decided that he had to kill someone in order to survive the zombie apocalypse.

Tarver told police that he wanted to feel what it is like to kill someone. Tarver walked from his house to the home of Lavinda Counce, and knocked on her door.

When she opened, Tarver forced himself into the apartment. He then shoved her into the back of a car, and took her to a field, where he shot her in the back of the head.
