A long snake in India, has died after suffering internal injuries to its intestines while swallowing a large antelope, according to a video that was uploaded to the Internet.
Witnesses said that the incident unfolded on Monday morning, near the Gir wildlife sanctuary in Gujarat.
The 20 foot long snake first attacked the antelope and strangled it. The snake then swallowed it whole, but had trouble digesting the large animal.
The snake even tried to regurgitate the antelope, but it failed.
Forest officials were called to the scene, but by the time they arrived, the snake was already dead. It died from internal injuries to its intestines due to the large size of the antelope.
