A mother was arrested on a charge of murder after she and several others killed her 10-year-old daughter, according to police in New Mexico.
Albuquerque police said that they have arrested the mother, 35-year-old Michelle Martens, along with 31-year-old Fabian Gonzales and 31-year-old Jessica Kelley, in connection with the rape and death of 10-year-old Victoria Martens.
All three suspects were charged with first-degree murder and aggravated criminal sex penetration of a child under 13.
Martens told investigators that one of the men she arranged to have sex with her daughter was a co-worker. Two other people she met on the dating website Plenty of Fish.
The mother revealed that she did not sell her daughter’s body for sex as she enjoyed watching men rape her. On the day of her 10th birthday, Victoria was drugged with meth, raped and murdered.
Witnesses at the scene told police that Martens plunged a knife into the girl’s stomach. Police found the dismembered body of the girl inside the apartment Victoria shared with her mother.
