A husband was arrested on a charge of murder after allegedly stabbing his wife to death before having sex with his girlfriend in his home while the body was decomposing in a closet, according to police in Michigan said.
Macomb County police said that they have arrested 48-year-old Loyd Dejohn, after being accused of killing 51-year-old Kimberly Dejohn.
Loyd has been charged with first-degree murder, and disinterment and mutilation of a dead body.
According to the police investigation, Loyd told his friends that he was having sex with other women and he was going to kill his wife.
One day, Loyd decided to kill his wife Kimberly. Loyd covered her body with a blanket and stashed her in a closet on the top floor of his house.
Loyd then had sex with his girlfriend on the bottom floor of the house. After two days, Loyd’s girlfriend complained that the house smelled like rotten eggs or dead meat.
Loyd then removed the body of his wife from the closet and put it in the back of his truck. He then covered the body with a pile of dirt.
Loyd drove to and from work with the dead body of his for several weeks before burying her in a shallow grave. His girlfriend moved into the home, and she and her mother were paid to clean the house, make repairs and paint.
