German tourist found dead in hotel room in Turkey

A German tourist was found dead in her hotel room in the Alanya district of the Mediterranean resort of Antalya, Tuurkey, on Aug. 30, Doğan News Agency has reported.

Kathrin Christine, 36, had checked into a hotel in the İncekum neighborhood while on vacation. The hotel’s cleaning personnel entered Christine’s room with a spare room key at around 1 p.m. after they suspected that she had not left the room for a long time.

However, they found Christine’s body on the bed. Gendarmerie and medical personnel were called to the hotel.
Upon an initial examination, medical personnel determined that Christine was dead.

Christine’s body was sent to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institution after the initial examination.
