An Alabama teenager faces a felony assault charge after buzzing a teacher with a stun gun.
The unidentified Mary G. Montgomery High School student was fighting with another young woman Thursday afternoon before a teacher at the school tried to stop the ruckus, according to Mobile County Sgt. Joseph Mahoney told AL.com.
Video of the shocking altercation posted to Facebook shows the adult grabbing one girl by the shoulders and pressing her against the wall until the hissing stun gun interrupts him.
The student breaks free from the teacher’s grasp and runs away through a surprised crowd.
“This is what happens when you ruin a fight that’s gone happen anyways,” said one student who shared the video.
The student who had the stun gun was later found and arrested, and also faces misdemeanor assault for attacking her classmate.
