A newlywed man of South Africa, who was looking forward to starting his new life with his wife.
However, everything changed when his teenage neighbor asked him for help.
Family members said that 17-year-old Cebi Mthiyane, called her neighbor for help when her boyfriend beat her up.
The newlywed man, 45, went over to the house to protect the teenager from her boyfriend who accused her of cheating.
However, while the men were talking, the newlywed man said that the boyfriend reached into his pocket and he thought that the boyfriend was going to pull out a gun.
That is when the newlywed man pulled his own gun and shot at the abusive man three times. However, he missed, and instead, he killed the teenager.
Mthiyane, who died at the scene, left behind a five-month-old baby.
