Man beats 7-year-old stepson with steel bar because he could not pronounce television correctly

A stepfather was arrested on a charge of child endangerment after allegedly beating his stepson because he couldn’t pronounce the word television correctly, according to police in Ohio.

Cleveland police said that they have arrested 25-year-old Juan Ordaz-Munoz, after being accused of abusing his 7-year-old stepson because he could not say the word television correctly.

In court, Ordaz-Munoz pleaded not guilty to the charge of child endangerment. He was booked into jail, and his bail has been set at $50,000.

According to the criminal complaint, on Friday, Ordaz-Munoz became angry after the boy found it difficult to pronounce the word television.

Ordaz-Munoz grabbed a steel bar and beat the boy with it. The suffered wounds to the chest, legs and buttocks as a result of the attack.

This was the second time that Ordaz-Munoz has been accused of using violence against the child.
