A blond teacher was arrested on a charge of public intoxication after allegedly showing up on the first day at her job under the influence of alcohol, according to police in Oklahoma.
The Wagoner Police Department said that they have arrested 49-year-old Lorie Ann Hill, after the principal of the Wagoner High School, found her in a classroom without pants.
In court, Hill pleaded not guilty to a charge of public intoxication. She was booked into jail and her bail was set at $149.
According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded early on Monday morning. Hill showed up for her first day of work while she was intoxicated.
She was not wearing pants or shoes. The principal found her sitting is in an empty classroom. The police officer who arrived at the scene, could smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Hill’s breath.
She admitted to drinking orange juice and vodka on her way to work. She also told police that she had vodka in her car, which was in the school’s parking lot.
