I think we have thugs in National Assembly, this is disgusting. Women are also great leaders.
Maryam Garba Bagel pictured above, who is the only female member in the
Bauchi state House of Assembly has written to the state police
commissioner requesting for police protection after a male colleague in
the house, Yakubu Shehu Abdullahi, threatened to deal with her in and
outside their chambers following an argument during their executive
session on August 3rd. Maryam in her petition said Abdullahi vowed to
carry out his attack on her.
