Traditional ruler, his driver and body guards killed in Plateau State by suspected Fulani herdsmen

The traditional ruler of the Ron/Kulere tribe of Bokkos LGA in Plateau
State, His Royal Highness, Sir Lazarus Agai was murdered by suspected
Fulani Herdsmen, this evening Monday July 18.
According to Plateau News, the monarch was ambushed and murdered along
with his bodyguards and driver on his way back home from his farm at Sha
village in Bokkos.

The unfortunate incident was confirmed by the member representing Bokkos
Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Mr. Sunday Muchen and the
Plateau State Police Public Relations Officer ASP Tyopev Terna who said
investigation has commenced.
