A man is facing charges of armed robbery and gun possession after
allegedly shooting himself in the private parts during a robbery at a
gas station, according to police in Ohio.
Cleveland police said that incident unfolded on Monday, at the Marathon gas station located on E. 55th near Woodland.
According to the police investigation, the thief approached a vehicle
and tried to steal from the people inside. He then attempted to pull out
his gun from his waist, but it got stuck and fired.
The bullet hit his private parts. The suspect was taken to the
MetroHealth Medical Center, where he is being treated. The thief will be
arrested and charged once he is discharged from the hospital.
The occupants of the vehicle were not injured.
Well that serves him right.
