Nigeria’s economy will improve with increased access to technology – Osinbajo

Nigeria’s
economy will do well with increased access and application of technology
in the country, the Vice President, Prof.Yemi Osinbajo, has said.

He spoke  at the just concluded Techplus 2016 held in Lagos,where he
emphasised that  nations emerged as economic powerhouses based on their
ability to use science and technology effectively.

Osinbajo, represented by the Senior Special Assistant to the President
on Job Creation and Youth Employment, Mr Afolabi Imuokhuede, said that
access and application of technology was imperative in today’s society.

The chairperson of Alliance for Affordable Internet, Dr Omobola Johnson,
said that to promote use of technology, developing countries should
invest in quality education and continuous skills training for workers
and managers.
