Man dumps newborn baby in hospital toilet bowl

 

A man was arrested on a charge of attempted murder after allegedly
dumping a newborn baby into a hospital toilet bowl, according to police
in the United Kingdom.

Manchester police said that staff members of the Royal Albert Edward
Infirmary, found the newborn baby unconscious and abandoned in the
toilet bowl.

The baby was found just after midnight on Tuesday, in the accident and
emergency unit of the hospital. Luckily, doctors managed to resuscitated
the, and the child is now in stable condition.

A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
The mother of the baby boy was questioned, but she was not arrested.

The hospital was shut down for the night, but reopened the following
morning. Police urged anyone with information about the incident to come
forward.
