Motorists in China, were surprised to see thousands of newly born
chickens walking on a busy highway until they spotted a truck that was
involved in an accident.
The incident unfolded early on Monday, in Yangzhou, Jiangsu, according to a video that was uploaded to the Internet.
The video shows the chicks running wild on the road while firefighters
worked to free the driver from the cabin of the overturned truck.
The driver was trapped for a while, but he was not seriously injured.
The video ends with images of the rescue team rounding up the chicks and
placing them back into the truck.
Unfortunately, some chickens have died and some were seriously injured
as a result of the crash. Several chickens suffered injuries after
jumping off the damaged truck.
The truck was carrying a total of 30,000 chickens
