An elderly woman was arrested on a charge of attempted murder after shooting her husband.
The woman of Florida, shot her 83-year-old husband during an argument about whether he had a girlfriend.
85-year-old Beverly Blossom Levine of Boca Raton, accused her husband Herbert Furash, of having a girlfriend.
The couple were married for about four years. Luckily, Furash was not seriously injured.
Levine appeared in a West Palm Beach court on charges of attempted
murder with a firearm, aggravated assault and aggravated battery.
Police who arrived at the scene, said that Levine admitted to shooting her husband in the stomach while firing two rounds.
Judge Joseph Marx ordered Levine to be held until she undergoes a mental
health evaluation. She was also ordered not to have contact with
victim.
