Family sources have revealed how APC governorship candidate, Audu Abubakar died yesterday Sunday November 22nd, hours before INEC declared the state governorship election inconclusive. A member of the late politicians family said Audu started vomiting blood on Saturday November 21st, the day of the election. He was so weak and had blood transfusion to enable him go to his polling unit to vote.
His condition however deteriorated on Sunday morning when he suffered a stroke and died at his home in Ogbonicha. “After a while he became unconscious and died around 5 a.m. on Sunday morning,” the family source said. He will be buried today according to Islamic rites.
