EFCC arraigns former Benue state governor, Suswam, over N3.1b money laundering charges

Former Benue state governor, Gabriel Suswam, is currently being arraigned by EFCC officials before Justice A.R. Mohammed of the Federal High court in Abuja over allegations of money laundering to the tune of N3.1 billion. Suswam and his former Finance Commissioner, Omodachi Okolobia, are alleged to have diverted the proceeds of the sale of shares owned by the Benue State Government and Benue Investment and Property Company Limited when they were in office.
