Female suicde bombers attack mosque in Borno

At least 5 people have been confirmed dead after 2 female suicide bombers attacked a mosque along Ajilanri cross in Maiduguri, Borno state.
According to reports, the first female suicide bomber was waiting outside the mosque for the Muslim faithfuls to leave the mosque so she could detonate the bomb but fortunately prolonged prayers kept people inside the mosque.

The female bomber eventually blew herself up, and killed a few people who were outside the mosque. The second female suicide bomber detonated hers few meters away from the mosque.

40 people are said to have been injured and are receiving medical attention at State Specialist Hospital Maiduguri.
