Kano PDP primaries: Takia wins as Abacha’s son withdraws

The gubernatorial candidate of the defunct All Nigerian Peoples Party in 2011 election, Alhaji Sagir Salihu Takai Tuesday morning defeated six other candidates for the sole PDP ticket .Takai recorded a landslide victory as he scored 1260 votes.

Muhammad Abacha, eldest son of the late Head of State, General Sani Abacha withdrew from the exercise last night.
