Police have released a picture of 19-year-old Obitana Onyia – who is wanted in connection with an attempted murder in Deptford on Sunday.
A spokesman for the Met has urged people not to approach the man, but to contact officers in Greenwich if they come across him or know of his whereabouts.
He said detectives would ‘urgently need’ to speak with the teenager in relation to an incident where a man suffered stab wounds in Creek Road.
The victim, in his 30s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
Onyia is described as black, 6ft tall with a tattoo of a cross on his right arm.
The spokesman added: “Officers believe that Onyia has connections with Woolwich, Greenwich and Plumstead.”
