Another Texas health care worker tests positive to Ebola

A second health care worker at the Texas Presbyterian Hospital has tested positive to Ebola, a few days after a nurse, Nina Pham, tested positive. The new case is also one of those who attended to late Thomas Eric Duncan, the Liberian who took Ebola to America.

Confirming the 2nd diagnoses, the US Center for Disease Control and prevention said in a statement

“A second healthcare worker at Texas Presbyterian Hospital who provided care for the index patient has tested positive for Ebola according to preliminary test performed overnight by the Texas Department of State Health Services Laboratory”.
