Obasanjo Visits Injured Son In Jos

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo arrived Jos, Plateau State yesterday, September 13, 2014 amidst tight security to visit his injured son, The Sun reports.

Lt. Col. Adeboye Obasanjo was wounded last week during a face-off with Boko Haram insurgents in Adamawa.

Chief Obasanjo was reportedly received by the Deputy Governor of the state, Ambassador Ignatius Longjan and the Gbong Gwom Jos, His Majesty Jacob Gyang Buba among others.

It was also reported that the former president was given a warm welcome by his son who  embraced him when he arrived at the hospital where the latter is receiving treatment.

The younger Obasanjo was previously being treated at the Federal Medical Center in Yola, Adamawa state but reportedly had to be relocated due to security concerns.
