The Maiduguri Zonal Commander of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, ACE II Onwukwe C. Obiora on Thursday, October 21, 2021 charged the Federal Public Complaints Commission to collaborate with the anti-graft agency in the fight against corruption to make Nigeria a better place.
The Commander gave the charge when he received the Honourable Commissioner of the Federal Public Complaints Commission in Borno State, Yusuf Adamu alongside his management team who paid a courtesy visit to the Command.
Obiora stressed the need for more synergy between the two agencies to ensure accountability and transparency for effective service delivery.
โโWe are products of Nigerian society and we all must ensure that we do the right thing always to sanitize our environment and organizations as we have no other country to call ours except Nigeria,โโ the Commander stated.
While expressing his gratitude for the visit, the Commander urged the Commissioner not to hesitate to seek assistance and support from the EFCC when the need arises.
In his response, the Honourable Commissioner, Yusuf Adamu thanked the Commander for his warm reception and for the assistance the Federal Public Complaints Commission, Borno State Chapter has so far received from the Maiduguri Zonal Command.
He assured the Commander of more robust synergy between the two agencies in area of information sharing and transfer of cases that fall within the purview of the EFCC to help the anti-graft agency achieve its mandate.
