President Muhammadu Buhari has warmly felicitated with Chief Tayo Sowunmi, former National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on his 80th birthday, February 18, 2022, joining all members and leaders of the governing party to celebrate with the stalwart.
President Buhari congratulated the Babanla Adinni of Egbaland and Baba Adinni of Ijemo, in Abeokuta South Local Government, as he turns an octogenarian, with clear legacies of standing up for what is right, from when he was a student, and showing altruism in all leadership positions.
President Buhari affirmed that Chief Sowunmiโs contribution to the strength and influence of the APC, supporting it to win elections, and stay true to the implementation of its manifesto will continually be appreciated.
The President prayed that the Almighty God will continue to guide and protect the APC chieftain, giving him more strength and good health.
