Multi-tariff application in electricity will start tomorrow. It is stated that the discounted tariff will be applied between 22:00 and 07:00 7 days a week during the winter period.
Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) subscribers will be able to benefit from the multi-tariff as of tomorrow, depending on their preferences.
For electricity subscribers who will prefer multi-tariff, discounted hours will be applied for 9 hours between 22:00 and 07:00 in the winter period.
Expensive hours will cover the 5-hour period between 17:00 and 22:00. Electricity charges for the 12-hour period between 07.00 and 17.00 in the morning will be billed at the normal tariff.
Accordingly, between October 16 and May 15, which is called the “winter period”, from 07.00 in the morning to 17.00 in the evening, which is called “normal time”, the electricity price is 3.3285 TL per kilowatt hour (kwh).
The electricity price will be applied as 4.6O46TL from 17.00 in the evening to 22.00 at night, which is the time zone called “Out of Points”, and 2.1941 TL between the hours of 22.00 at night and 07.00 in the morning.
