Following the inspections carried out by the police in Kyrenia, legal action was initiated against one business for “exceeding the time allowed for music broadcasting”, and for 2 businesses for “using a sound amplifier”.
According to the statement made by the Police Press Officer, as a result of the inspections carried out by the police in the Girne region; it was determined that three entertainment venues did not comply with the closing hours, and that although the said enterprises had valid music broadcasting permissions from the competent authority, one enterprise exceeded the music broadcasting permission hour, and two enterprises broadcast music by using sound amplifier devices, although they had valid music permissions.
Legal action has been taken against the businesses in question.
The investigation into the matter continues.
