Under the Cyprus Civil Society at Work 6th Grant Scheme, the “Bi-communal Dialogue Development Project”, financed by the European Union (EU) and carried out by the Lefke Tourism Association and the Cyprus Nature Friends, continues its activities.
Within the scope of the project, 1 September World Peace Day will be celebrated in Dogancฤฑ (Elye).
According to the statement made by the Lefke Tourism Association Board of Directors, the event will be held between 19.30 – 23.00 in cooperation with the Lefke Tourism Association, Lefke Municipality, Doฤancฤฑ Muhtarlฤฑฤฤฑ and Elye Peace Fire Initiative.
In the event, dance performances will be held, peace songs will be sung, peace poems will be read and “Peace Fire” will be lit.
Throughout the program, Lyrical Poetry Group, Klirou Village Dance Team, Group SOS, Muhittin Yang, Esen Karaรง, Ersan Karaรง, Yฤฑltan Taลรงฤฑ, Adamos Katsantinos, Emine Kral Sevim, Muzaffer Sevim, Vasviye รakartaล, Saadet รaluda, Tahsin Oygar, Umut Albayrak, Maria Konstantinou , Mehmet Zeyin, Arif Edizer, Selรงuk Garanti, Andrulla Shati will take the stage.
